Patterson Building Group is a privately owned construction, refurbishment and interiors company serving a diverse range of clients across Australia.

We Plan, Build and Deliver – providing clients with end-to-end design, project management and construction solutions that are recognised not only for their seamless integration of form and function, but also how they feel within the greater environment they occupy.

We focus on delivering the best job for our clients and ensure their objectives are met safely, on time and on budget. Having completed iconic projects ranging from $50,000 to $70 million, including multiple award-winning projects, we have achieved success across many sectors including commercial, retail, government, education, aged care, residential and industrial for both private and public sector clients.

At Patterson, we provide an end-to-end service, encompassing all facets of design, project delivery, construction planning and management.

We believe the client is an integral part of our team. By involving them from the outset of the project we can optimise their objectives, identify challenges and work with them to deliver innovative, cost effective outcomes which add value to each stage of the construction process.

Our team is a collaboration of skilled and expert industry professionals in structural, civil and services engineering to ensure exceptional delivery of all our building and construction projects.

    By investing time upfront, we set the stage for success. Through early involvement and working collaboratively with the client our team can maximise the value of an asset by driving efficiencies in design, buildability and sustainability. Our commitment is to provide the most economical and sustainable design solutions and building methodology. Our design services include:
    • Pre-contract development feasibility and design sensitivity analysis.
    • Pre-contract management of development projects.
    • Design and construction management.

  • Build

    At Patterson we are experienced in all types of construction. From new build construction, refurbishments and interiors to heritage restorations. Our build services include:
    • Budget management including cost planning and forecasting.
    • Construction contracting.
    • Project management.
    • Staging and planning management.
    • Project programming.

  • Deliver

    We provide a flexible approach to project delivery and can do so through a variety of methods including:
    • Lump sum contracts.
    • Negotiated contracts.
    • Design and construct lump sum contracts.

Our Commitment to the Environment

 

Sustainability is intrinsic to every Patterson project. We are committed to a sustainable future and have experience in traditional and sustainable green design, using tools such as the ABGR and Green Star systems. We are also able to advise our clients on energy and water efficiency initiatives, materials selection, and waste minimisation techniques.

Our company operates in an environmentally conscious and forward thinking manner in compliance with all relevant legislation. All of our operational activities avoid any adverse effects on the local environment, also ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers and the community in which we operate.

All our employees are educated and trained in environmental issues during the course of their employment. This includes the implementation of an Integrated Project Management System, and procedures to minimise the risk of environmental accidents, to reduce the impact of releases should they occur, and monitoring of the discharge of all other wastes and emissions which may harm the environment. All employees and subcontractors at Patterson are required to adhere to the relevant environmental requirements.

Our Environmental Management System has been third party certified by Global-Mark to AS/NZS ISO 14001-2004: Environmental Management Systems.

The safety and wellbeing of the people we work with is at the heart of everything we do. With this in mind, we plan and execute our works in a manner that places people and their safety first.

All of our projects work with documented management systems that are third party certified by Global- Mark and comply with all the requirements of AS/NZS 4801-2001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems of the NSW Government OHS Management System Guidelines 4th Edition
June 2004.
