Patterson Building Group was appointed by TAFE NSW to undertake the upgrade of Singleton TAFE as part of its Connected Learning Centre Tranche 2 program. 

The scope of work involves the strip out and part demolition of the existing structure and the extension and refurbishment of the building to accommodate new learning areas and workshops. Our work also involves the upgrade of services, external works and landscaping. 

Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed by The Office of Environment and Heritage as head contractor to undertake the refurbishment of the Minnamurra Visitor Centre and Lyrebird Cafe. 

The works involve the refurbishment of the existing Visitor Cente including upgrades and improvements to the main entry, removal of internal walls and of existing staff accommodation, upgrades to the roof, ceiling, internal and external walls, storm water plumbing, lighting and other lighting fixtures. 

Patterson Building Group was appointed as the head contractor for the Sails at Kiama project. The scope of works consisted of the construction of 18 residential apartments, 22 car spaces, an external garbage room, storage room, WC enclosure as well as landscaping and all external works.

Patterson Building Group are engaged as Head Contractor for the design and construction of a new Local Area Command Police Station in Gunnedah. 

Our role involved the relocation of staff and equipment to a temporary residence and the demolition of the existing structure (including asbestos removal) for the construction of a new police station. Work also involves the connection of utilities and services to the site as well as all landscaping and external works. 

PBG is working with all stakeholders during construction and will continue to work with NSW Police during the relocation and handover phase. 

Patterson Building Group was engaged to build and deliver a new community centre for the town of Kiama. The projects scope of works included the construction of a new community health centre and carpark, including not only demolition works, but also civil and additional stormwater works. The project delivered
a community centre that had consultation and treatment areas, as
well as dental facilities and a gymnasium to cater for the Kiama
community.

The construction works comprised of concrete slabs for the ground structure, structural steel and lightweight steel composite timber and fibres cement cladded buildings.Aluminium windows and doors, an internal plasterboard wall and ceiling linings over which hung suspended tile ceilings. Carpet and vinyl for flooring
and all workstations, as well as internal FFE to all rooms.

Patterson Building Group was appointed as the Head Contractor for the Mount Druitt’s New Fire Station and Administration Building. The works undertaken on the project included a concrete placement for both the administration block & engine bay, structural steel and service installations which included; hydraulic, electrical, dry fire & mechanical. Steel framing was also erected, followed by brickwork, doors, as well as joinery, fixtures, followed by all associated landscaping works.

Patterson Building Group was awarded as head contractor to undertake a two stage construction project at the Only About Children Childcare Centre at Rhodes.

Stage 1 comprised of the expansion of the existing childcare and associated landscape works. Stage 2 works required the refurbishment of the existing shade sails and associated landscape works to the existing play area.

Patterson Building Group was appointed as head contractor for the Eastgardens Library.

The scope of works included the major refurbishment of the existing fit-out, demolition and strip-out, the erection of acoustic hoarding, set out and install of new services such as fire, hydraulics, air conditioning, mechanical ventilations, electrical, ICT services, as well as construction and fit-out of new works including furnishing and external works.

Appointed by Mission Australia, Patterson Building Group undertook the construction of a new ten bed residential youth detoxification facility at Mission Australia’s Triple Care Farm Property at Knights Hill.

Patterson Building Group was appointed to deliver the refurbishment of four levels(including basement), two new lift shafts and multiple structural alterations, extensions and infills to the Manly Police Station.

The programme was an extremely tight five month time frame and required simultaneous trade coordination completing the lift shaft and other structural works whilst finishes trades like painting and carpet were deployed in adjacent areas.

The site itself was very tight with minimal room inside and around requiring delicate material deliveries and handling.

Multiple trades were working simultaneously in harmony resulting in on time delivery free from any WHS or Environmental incidents.
