Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed by Inner West Council as head contractor to undertake the Haberfield Centre and Library Upgrade.

Our work involves part demolition of the existing two storey heritage library building, ground and first floor alterations to the original main library including new entry, bathrooms and kitchen, and the construction of a new northern wing including conference hall and lift to first floor.

Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed as Head Contractor to undertake the refurbishment of a New Welcome Centre on the Concourse Level at The Sydney Opera House.

The works included the fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of the new welcome centre and included the removal of the old welcome centre structure, floor and joinery.

In its place is a new fully designed pod type structure that houses the new information centre, ticketing facilities and feature wall displays.

The new external works include a new signage structure and paving works to the higher level concourse.

Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed as Head Contractor to undertake the construction of a new Gate House to The Sydney Opera House.

The Gatehouse structure is an elliptical shaped architectural roof, including integration with structural columns and a perimeter glazing channel and was a collaborative design in conjunction with original designer of the SOH.

This high profile project required a high attention to detail to house the accommodation requirements, but to conceal the services including electrical, data, security, lighting and mechanical services in a high pedestrian area.

Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed by The Sydney Opera House to construct the new redesigned function centre, Yallamundi Room.

The newly designed function room involved the removal of the external marquee, strip out of an existing Ballet Rehearsal room, the demolition of existing mezzanine concrete slab and all existing redundant plant and services; strengthening works to existing curved load bearing walls and the creation of openings in existing structural walls for the new ‘state of the art’ function space.

Patterson Building Group Pty Ltd was appointed by the University of Sydney as head contractor to undertake the demolition of existing offices at the heritage listed Sydney Eye Hospital and the refurbishment of the lower floor area into research space; the construction of a mezzanine with open plan space and offices and the fitout of PC2 laboratories.

The refurbishment provides a mezzanine with an open plan area for post graduates and offices for staff.

The larger lower floor area provides lab benches, a separate histology lab and a separate electro physiology lab.

Patterson Building Group Pty Ltd was appointed as the head contractor to undertake the internal refurbishment of lecture halls and teaching spaces within the main University Quadrangle.

The works involved the refurbishment of the old rooms to maintain quality teaching spaces taking into account the heritage listing on the buildings; providing the latest architectural and audio visual features to enhance teaching and to meet BCA compliance and improve OHS without altering the heritage aspects of the building.

Patterson Building Group Pty Limited were appointed to undertake the construction of the Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel for The Australian Catholic University.

The works involved the demolition of three existing buildings to allow for construction of the chapel, refurbishment within the existing Rockleigh Grange building to the toilets and kitchenette, a new sacristy room, permanent support of heritage brick wall, and all associated services and landscaping works.

These works were constructed in three stages to allow normal operation of the University.
