Patterson Building Group Pty Limited was appointed as Head Contractor to undertake the refurbishment of a New Welcome Centre on the Concourse Level at The Sydney Opera House.

The works included the fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of the new welcome centre and included the removal of the old welcome centre structure, floor and joinery.

In its place is a new fully designed pod type structure that houses the new information centre, ticketing facilities and feature wall displays.

The new external works include a new signage structure and paving works to the higher level concourse.

Patterson Building Group were engaged as the head contractor to undertake the upgrade and alterations to South Maroubra Shopping Centre.

The work involved the demolition of the existing forecourt and access ramps and the construction of a new passenger lift and forecourt area, an electrical upgrade, a fire services upgrade and the complete repainting and retiling of the centre.

Patterson Building Group were engaged by the Caverstock Group to undertake the demolition and fitout of existing offices and part structure of a warehouse building, followed by the conversion and fitout of a large commercial area for the purposes of retailing liquor at Dan Murphy’s Alexandria.

The works involved extensive co-ordination between trades and liaison with Woolworths Limited to ensure that the outlet met all technical and branding requirements.

The works were completed within a very short required timeframe (11 weeks) to the satisfaction of the client and Woolworths, without disrupting surrounding tenants which were still operating.

Patterson Building Group was appointed the head contractor to undertake the demolition of the existing RTA premises at Bondi Junction, Armidale and Broken Hill, Bathurst, Newcastle and Hornsby and reconfigure and fit them out to a Service NSW Centre.

These works involved extensive services upgrades and a detailed refurbishment, which were completed within a short six week programme.
