Façade upgrade works – Shepherd Street carpark

Patterson Building Group were appointed by The University of Sydney as head contractor to undertake the facade upgrade works of the Shepherd Street carpark for Building J10 at The University of Sydney.

The project involved the following:

• Demolition of existing concrete parapet walls to 6 levels around perimeter;
• Installation of tensile mesh to 6 levels around perimeter;
• Concrete remediation works throughout car park to repair cracking and spalling;
• Installation of structural steel to rooftop for mesh net and raptor rail system;
• Installation of new crash barrier throughout the perimeter;
• New line marking and signage to car spaces;
• Installation of light spill panels to 6 levels around perimeter.
